Viña Cazoga, Amandi Mencía - 2011

Red | Spain, Ribeira Sacra | (750 )mL
Cazoga means "ram" in Gallego, a language spoken in northwestern Spain. From a site known since the early 20th century as the best vineyard in the Sil River section of Ribeira Sacra, this is a full-bodied, rich red with black fruits and tannins. Excellent with grilled red meat dusted with rosemary.

The Utiel-Requena region is located in the province of Valencia and is renowned for its predominant use of the Bobal grape variety. The grape gives dark and spicy fruits with usually thick tannins. This Bobal from a small estate is juicy and offers red and blue fruits.

The Ancient city of Toro sits just over the northeast corner of Portugal on the Duero river. Toro wines are always structured and powerful on the palate. Tremendous body and richness yet not over the top with a moderately spiced finish due to the oak aging.

Flos de Pinoso, Monastrell - 2013

La Bodega de Pinoso started producing wines from organic grapes in 1997, being one of the pioneer wineries in the region to do so. This dark red blends aromas of red berries with whiffs of spice and hints of forest floor. It’s well structured and balanced on the palate.
