A lively, vibrant, unoaked red wine from the Rhône Valley that's quite a heavenly match with anything from onion soup to potato gratin. This is chuggable, or "gouleyant" (goo-lay-aunt) in French. So easy to drink, the bottle will be empty before you know it. You can enjoy this with a slight chill. Expect red fruits, a touch of licorice, tannins, and a lively acidity.

Buzet, Baron d'Ardeuil - 2008

Red | France, Southwest, Buzet | (750 )mL
This is primarily Merlot, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. A wine for Bordeaux fans and quite an impressive one at that, this is an excellent value. Ripe aromas of blackcurrant with a hint of varietal spicy apricot mirrored on the ample palate, with balanced, textured tannins on the finish.

Torrontés, Plata - 2014

A white wine that's a fine match for fish tacos or roast chicken. This is made from the Torrontés grape, a distant cousin of Muscat, and produces distinctively aromatic wines. The “Plata” is dry on the palate, with notes of mixed white flowers, yellow plums, and even some white peppercorn on the finish.
