Tasting Notes

This red is made from the Nebbiolo grape in the northeastern corner of northern Italy's Lombardia region. It's a delight to drink, especially if you've had your eye out for good value in Nebbiolo - which is all too rare! This wine is a great example of what this regal grape can do: pale garnet in color, it boasts an elegant and lithe texture. The nose shows subtle aromas of violets, red berries, and earth, and there is a touch of melon flavor on the palate. Do what the Italians do and enjoy this wine with rich food.
