Narutotai Saké, Ginjo Nama Genshu

Item # 21047

A very rich style of saké, in part due to the fact that it is undiluted (Genshu). A beautifully textured saké with refreshing, fruit-driven aromas. Drink chilled.

Staff Pick Notes

Founded in 1804, Honke Matsuura is the longest established sake brewery in the Tokushima Prefecture, which is a large island at the southern base of Japan. With the nickname of this brew being "Red Snapper", you can expect a fully relaxing and at times tropical experience sitting just inside this distinctive 720ml can. This is a Sake with the grain polish of a Ginjo (58%) and is slightly fortified to enhance aromas; it is Nama (unpasteurized) and it is Genshu (undiluted cask strength). The result is a sake with huge personality and texture. Almost beer like in it nature on the pallet, deep in pineapple and quince flavors, with enough alcohol to back up it's full body. Big and brassy, but very easy to love.
