Staff Pick Notes

Quinta do Montalto, Vinha da Malhada

It’s easy enough to find an approachable European wine farmed according to organic practices. But finding one in an old world style from an estate the same family has been farming since 1880... for under $10 a bottle? Please take note. Vinha da Malhada is a classically constructed Portuguese dry red wine. Its assemblage of native Port varietals--think Touriga Nacional and Baga with some Aragonez (a.k.a.
