Coming from a wine background and getting my feet wet in the world of spirits, I've been particularly drawn to gin. I suppose there are sensory aspects of aromas and fruity notes (as in a gin and tonic) that attract me the way wine does. I love Letherbee’s flagship concoction. It has the proof (96), and the intense botanical influence that makes the spirit stand out in cocktails. I’ve been having fun with a splash of tonic and the addition of various produce like limes, oranges, cucumber, and celery. The background blend is so well balanced that it’s difficult to make mistakes with your creative endeavors.
