Pierre Péters, Blanc de Blancs "Cuvée Réserve" Brut - NV

750 mL
Item # 15026

An intensely mineral Champagne. The chalky character comes from the chalky soils of Mesnil-sur-Oger. This is dry wine with great concentration of citrusy fruit and a touch of green tea. Great as an apéritif wine and a must have with seafood, especially shellfish.

Staff Pick Notes

The Pierre Péters estate has been a family grower and producer for six generations, creating beautiful Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc since 1919! They also adapt their sustainable cultivation methods annually to better respect the environment and collect healthy grapes that express the terroir of Côte des Blancs. Enter 'Cuvée Réserve' BdB - an incredibly versatile Champagne with no shortage of chalky mineral character that is well balanced with notes of fresh orchard fruit. I love a Chardonnay based Champagne and Pierre Péters is making magic with their blend of over 20 years of harvests. This bottle begs to be paired with oysters!

It is a flexible, eager-to-please grape, responding well to just about anything a winemaker...
