Tasting Notes

As expected, the old vines give this Zinfandel a dark and brooding nose: brambly, tarry, and very spicy. The ripeness here creates an opulent entry, with lots of depth on the mid-palate and a delightful, creamy old-vine intensity. Overall, quite dark and dense.
