Tasting Notes

This wine comes from an area that is covered in Linden trees, a flavor that can be found in the wines. The nose here is mellow and complex with waxy, floral notes as well as hints of leather and plum. The palate is light-handed but densely fruited with no oak and less agressive tannins than are sometimes found in Barbera. Massimo Bo practices green-harvesting to keep yeilds low with the result that his wines are concentrated and of very high quality.
