This Grenache from the province of Vicenza in northeastern Italy drinks more like Gamay than Grenache. The wine is extremely light, fruity, and full of tart cherry and cranberry notes on the nose and palate. There's a hint of funk at the onset and the wine finishes with bright acidity and soft tannins.
