Staff Pick Notes

Imagine a red poppy flower in a sea of white carnations. Could you possibly ignore it? That is how I feel about this wine. You don’t hear much about reds from Chassagne-Montrachet but they exists and they're beautiful. Ramonet holds a lofty reputation rivaled by few others because of his white wines. You’ll find just as much care and elegance in this red. Gorgeous red fruit, floral perfume, and fragrant moss. It is a privilege to pluck a flower like this, even if it is awash in a sea of white.
