Wife and husband team Marita and Guglielmo Manenti personally tend to the 4 hectares of vineyards they purchased in 2005. The sandy and clay soil reaches so deep that no irrigation is ever needed. Clay endows the wine with longevity and acid extract, while sand gives the wine delicacy and softness. This is a fruity blend of 50/50 Nero d'Avola and Frappato yielding a soft strawberry warmth delicious for light pork dishes and herb roasted zucchini.

This bottle is a blend of two bold and beautiful indigenous varietals Nero d’Avola and Frappato. (Think if Cab & Zin were better-looking, more flirtatious foreign exchange students.) Sleek-like silk on the palate, as smooth as a warm oak floor under bare, winter-burned feet. This silky smooth Sicilian red is made by the hands of lovers! Marita and Guglielmo Manenti are a husband and wife duo personally taking care of every single one of their vines. Located in Vittoria, a region in southern Sicily, where their vines run deep into chalky, ashy soils giving their grapes a deep intensity and dynamic characteristic that stands out in the glass. A wine for good friends and lovers!
