Cava Rosat Trepat, Agustí Torelló Mata

Cava Rosat Trepat, Agustí Torelló Mata - 2020

Item # 27016 750mL

Fresh summer raspberries open jubilantly on this crisp, light sparkling rosé. Appealing notes of strawberries refresh the palate alongside persistent bubbles and a crisp structure. A well-integrated wine, abundant and balanced in every way, this is a wine for apéro and cocktails, especially with small nibbles of cured meats, shrimp, or desserts (such as a fruit tart with vanilla cream). This wine is 100% Trepat, a grape indigenous to Penedès, similar in structure and character to a Pinot Noir.

Cava

Dry, delicious Cava is an excellent Champagne alternative. The best examples are aged on the lees (the spent yeast cells used in fermentation) and show complexity to rival that of the best Champagnes.
