Francis Boulard "Les Rachais," Brut Nature - 2011

Item # 27638 750mL

Delphine Boulard is the seventh generation to work her family's land in Champagne and now fully at the helm of the estate she founded with her father Francis in 2009. This is made from 100% Chardonnay. Les Rachais is the pinnacle of the Boulard wines, coming as it does from the original family estate parcel planted with selection massale cuttings in 1967.

Deliciously aromatic and brimming with nutty, yeasty, golden honey aromas with hints of honeysuckle and papaya. This certainly is a dry Champagne, but somehow the palate is still ripe with juicy, nearly tropical top notes of sun-kissed peaches and mango. Irresistible.
