The Nahe region of Germany is home to a lot of superstar winemakers, Schäfer-Fröhlich is certainly one of them. Their independent vineyard bottlings are fantastic and if you're familiar with them you can get a dose of what they offer in their Estate Riesling. Off dry on the palate, filled to the brim with stoney, floral driven white fruit. Serve classically with speck, spätzle or slow braised pork.
