An orange wine, not conventionally made. Vitovska is a grape predominantly planted in Northern Italy and Slovenia. It's tannic and amber in color, a result of the grapes macerating on their skins for a week after pressing. This wine from Cotar (Cho-tar) offers an array of white and yellow fruits as well as mineral and spice notes.

Kras, the smallest sub-region of the beautiful Primorski wine region in western Slovenia. Rich in viticultural history, wine has been produced here for centuries. This winery produces traditional wines using their ancestors’ methods. You will fall in love with this unique & interesting natural orange wine (trust me!). This one boasts of having a rich & golden hue. Unusual complex nose of sour cabbage, cider, apple, apricot, orange peel, nectarine, quince, pear, citrus zest & yeasty notes. The oak exposure helps richen the flavors. High minerality & slightly high volatile acidity. Fresh & well balanced with a dry & drinkable palate: apple, peach, orange, melon. Full bodied, citrus, almost a little oak & umami sense. Nice chalky firm tannins. With charcuterie, montasio cheese, prawn & crab laksa is to die for! Well done Slovenia! :)
