Negroamaro is the main red grape from Salento! This is a fantastic example of the brooding, dark-berried fruit and subtle spice on the nose of the classic wine of Apuglia. There is no oak used in production, so we have here a focus just on the character of the grape variety. Accessible and easy-drinking, this wine is a great match with anything from grilled meats to pasta Bolognese or herb-roasted chicken. I've always got an extra bottle or two hanging around for impromptu get-togethers. Cheers!
