Tasting Notes

A wild Mencía with aromas of dark fruits, pomegranate, and a good dose of musk. Rustic in a good way and works very well with wild mushroom dishes or baby lamb chops. Cividade is isolated by impossibly steep, rocky terrain. Once the grapes are harvested, they are transported by boat down the Sil river to the winery. Benefits from a decanting to open up the wine.
