This is a new arrival and a brilliant example of a Sicilian white. Made from 100% native varietal, Carricante this wine oozes with Sicilian influence. Having grown on the Eastern slopes of Sicily's famous, Mt Etna, this delight reflects the distinct and pleasing volcanic soil influence, giving the wine a structured mineral component. Lemon pith and peel lead off followed closely by yellow floral aromas, and crisp refreshing finish. Vigna di Milo is part of a Salvo Foti-driven organization called "I Vigneri", dedicated to delivering the finest, native-grape examples from the eastern part of Sicily.
