What we love about the Paumanok winery is exemplified by this Chenin Blanc. The name says it all - a hands off approach after harvest. They simply press the grapes and let the fermentation begin. The alcohol is light at 11%, but the profile of the wine is fresh, honeyed yet dry, and quite giving. It's summer in a bottle. This is lively, full of delicious energy, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
