A Beaujolais with some structure. The Régnié village is dominated by pink granite soils and is located northwest of Morgon which perhaps explains the richer tannin although this wine is still very much Gamay in its accessibility.

This wine is worth every single penny. Gamay is known for its light and killer bod. This leads many to fear it's too thin for their cheeseburger-porter-house-steak-loving palates.
