This lovely wine is a blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon, and 20% Muscadelle, which adds a perfectly balanced floral note.The Néel-Chombart family, which has been running Chateaux Lamothe since 1956, is committed to sustainable farming, including the presence of bee hotels on the property! Perhaps this is why the wine, with its fresh peach blossom, light citrus, and honeysuckle nose, reminds me of picnics in sunny meadows with bumble bees lazily floating from flower to flower. Enjoy this wine on its own, or with light dishes such as fish, green salads, or chilled soups.
