A wild yet lively and very drinkable red wine blend from Austria that's made from Saint Laurent and Zweigelt. Delicate tannins and a vibrant red and black berried fruit character make this an excellent wine for the table. Drinks well with a slight chill.

Staff Pick Notes

"Glou" is wine terminology that signifies light, quaffable reds that go down super easy. If there were a wine dictionary, you'd find a picture of Puszta Libre under "glou". Natural winemaking guru, Claus Preisinger makes this wine from biodynamically farmed Zweigelt and Sankt Laurent. Partial carbonic maceration gives the wine a fresh juiciness. The wine is then aged in huge 3000-liter casks to add some texture. Other than that, Claus keeps his hands off the vinification. Bright red berries, cherry blossoms, and a touch of watermelon Jolly Rancher show on the nose and palate. Put a slight chill on this and enjoy it outdoors!
