From the southeast of Mount Etna in the area of Trecastagni within the Ronzini Contrada. A vineyard area owned by the Biondi family for centuries. The soils are volcanic yet very iron-rich and the vines are planted in the old Alberello (bush-trained) style. Aged in mostly used barrels for over a year.
