Made from a blend of Garnacha Tintorera (or Alicante Bouchet) and Moravia Agria grown in chalky, clay-calcareous soils. Wild yeast fermented with 50% whole grape clusters in 4500 liter cement vats, with soft pigeage and a short maceration of 7 days; then raised in cement for 8 months. Unoaked.

Made of 100% Alicante Bouchet, this wine tastes like licking high acid boysenberry pie filling off a cold slab of white marble, deep gray veins running through it. Whimsy. Clean and gentle on the palate. Dark berries, laced in a salty brine-a characteristic that lends itself to depth of flavor and a length that does not quit. Comparable to a more composed and compelling Syrah. A wine that feels like crawling into the crisp white sheets of a Ritz Carlton bed wearing a deep plum hued silk pajama set and sleeping off an entire month’s worth of exhaustion.
