The grapes used for this great rosato from Sicily are the local Nerello Mascalese and Nocera. The vineyards are planted on a slope at medium altitude: cool nights and warm days are great environment for grape ripening. The producer also uses only natural fertilizers. It's a delicious wine, deep colored for a rose' with aromas of pomegranate and blood orange. On the palate you can enjoy cranberry and strawberry notes, a smooth minerality and silky tannins! It's is concentrated and clean at the same time. A versatile wine, I found it amazing paired with bresaola, speck and parmesan chunks...!
