Staff Pick Notes

The classics have a way of making their way back into the fold; what is old becomes new, and so on. Sipsmith made me excited about London Dry Gin again and I hope it does for you, too. Subtle, rounded juniper notes on the nose are followed by fresh lime zest. The palate reveals a citrus character as notes of lemon peel pair with licorice, cassia, and wisps of cinnamon. The finish is understated, elegant, and dry. An archetypal expression of a classic, traditional, London Dry; bold, complex, magnificently balanced, and just aromatic enough for a martini, or a stellar G&T paired with a craft tonic. Cheers....
