For six generations, the Grant family has been producing some of the highest quality, classic single malt in all of Scotland. Employing their one-of-a-kind direct fire pot stills and a combination of oloroso Sherry and used bourbon oak barrels for maturation, the whiskies are robust, complex, and possessed of a great purity all at once. We view all Glenfarclas expressions as some of the best quality money can buy and the values are unbeatable. This 21-year is so exception. Very fruit-driven on the nose, the whisky seems nimble and lively. Soon after, rounder notes of barrel spices, caramel, and smoke enter the air. A lovely, creamy transition to the palate, with a harmonious, mouth-coating experience all around.
