Item # 30983 500mL
$27.99/ Single Bottle
$335.88/ Case of 12

Tasting Notes

The first edition of vermouth from this innovative New York winery is a dry, focused, potent expression destined to be drunk in gulps on hot days with a splash of club soda and a citrus twist. It will also completely transform whatever cocktail you try it out in. Based on a Sauvignon Blanc wine made at the estate with the addition of grape brandy and over 30 local botanicals and herbs, including a touch of honey. Lots of baking spice on the nose with greener floral notes that both translate to the palate making this a thirst-quenching go-to.

Staff Pick Notes

Channing Daughters VerVino abides in the gray area between vermouth and wine. Aptly named, this hybrid booze acts as a dry vermouth in your cocktails and just as convincingly as a wine when paired with hors d'ouevres. A Sauvignon Blanc base is fortified with grape brandy, is aromatized with thirty different botanicals, and is sweetened with honey. The best part? All of the ingredients are sourced locally from Long Island. Channing Daughters won't give us full disclosure, but hints at the mysterious content with pictures of the herbs on the label. This chameleon beverage should be a staple in your house (keep it refrigerated!), because its potential is endless.
