Rochelt Gewurztraminer Eau De Vie

Half-Bottle of Rochelt Gewurztraminer Eau De Vie - 2007

Item # 36592 375mL

According to the distillery, this old and treasured grape variety was named after the village of Tramin in Alto Adige where the high quality fruit grown there was provided to local monasteries for use at mass as early as the 15th century. For this very special eau de vie the family picks grapes grown in the, "Burgenland," region of Austria and manually de-stems them prior to fermentation so they can retain maximum purity of the fruit itself. The spirit embodies a trinity of floral, fruity and spicy flavors equally well with notes of persimmon, rose petals, dried peppers and more.
