The Macallan Edition No. 4 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Item # 39131 750mL

The collectible whiskies of Macallan have reached sky high proportions and with that has come increasing scarcity and higher prices. That is part of the reason why the Edition series has been one of the hottest tickets over the past several years, the availability and price making them the most accessible by far. The these collaborations have been some of the most exciting and experimental whiskies the Macallan has released in many years, each one singular and eye-opening. Edition 4 coincides with the grand opening of a new distillery and young, charismatic Master Distiller Nick Savage has put together a blend to commemorate it. Focusing on the brands heritage, the whisky is comprised of numerous sherry seasoned casks covering a spectrum of maturities including first and second fill butts, hogsheads, puncheons of both American and European oak sourced from select Spanish bodegas. The whisky is full, complex but still balanced with a panoply of flavors including dried tropical fruits, whole spices, tobacco and vanilla.
