Staff Pick Notes

Since the 1960's the Barberani family has been producing wines in the region of Umbria, gaining more vineyards and raising the bar on quality. This bottle is a calling card for the brothers Bernardo and Nicolo as it shows the commitment to achieving top results! They are also working biodynamically for harmony with nature. The blend of white grapes is composed of classic ones like Grechetto, Procanico, Malvalsia, Drupeggio, and Verdello. However, they are adding some Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay in this vintage. I think it may contribute to a familiar feel to our palates here in the states while remaining traditional. Fragrant, smooth, intense fresh fruit are some of the things that come to mind while smelling and sipping this little gem! I'm hooked on this everyday wine!
