Tasting Notes

Domaine les Eminades is located in St.-Chinian in the south of France. Their soils are complex but based on limestone, schist and clay. This white blend is based on the Grenache Blanc grape which shows incredible freshness and mineral structure due their fine soils. Unoaked and showing incredible structure which we can only attribute to the local terroir. You'll find floral aromas, white peach and pear aromas.

But perhaps the most satisfying trait of the 'Montmajou' is its supple texture on the palate, reminiscent in some ways of a fine Burgundy. Pair with the rich, creamy sauces and stews of the chilly months. Easily one of the best white wine values in the store!
