Australian Wines

Winemaking was first established in Australia in the late 1700s when vine cuttings were first brought over from South Africa. Every state in the country produces wine, but the majority comes from the cooler southern regions. From big and bold Shiraz, to racy Riesling, and finely aged Sémillon, the Lucky Country is a New World producer with emblematic wines all its own. From robust reds to nacent and bespoke natural wine producers, Australian wine runs the gamut.
