I’m going to tell you all a little secret! Rhum Barbancourt is truly something special. A Hatain Rhum made in Agricole Style famous in former French colonies in the Caribbean. Agricole Rhums are made using pure cane sugar instead of molasses and are considered to be the finest, most complex and intriguing expressions of the spirit. They can often be a little austere for rhum novices but none the less contain an absolutely compelling quality that is not to be missed. I find it a absolutely astonishing that they can offer a rhum of such exceptional quality for such and incredible price! Haiti has certainly not lost its “Spirit”!
