Staff Pick Notes

Long Island may be dominated by more common international varieties, but Lieb Cellars' signature bottling is Pinot Blanc. And I will let you in on the secret as to why - the North Fork is home to the largest contiguous Pinot Blanc vineyard in the United States. I certainly never would have guessed that! In addition this is one of the oldest vineyards on the island, so these vines are capable of making some seriously concentrated juice. Another win! If you are looking for a unique bottle from our nearest AVA, this is definitely the way to go. Clean fruit flavors & bright acidity result from stainless steel fermentation. Close proximity to the Long Island Sound & Peconic Bay offer a saline element on the finish. Make sure you pair this with grilled local seafood for a sure fire joyous experience.
