Staff Pick Notes

Go ahead, you know you want to! Give in to that urge to have a full blown, voluptuous, buttery Chardonnay! It's okay, I won't tell. In fact I'll join you for a glass. Yes, of course, I love minerality. Yes, I get into a good, funky, barnyardy red from the Loire. Yes, of course acidity is my best friend. BUT, there are those times when I just crave a good ol' hedonistic, meal in a glass, California Oaked Chardonnay. When I do, this is one of my go to's! For an extra treat, pair it with a hickory smoked corn and butter poached lobster risotto!

It is a flexible, eager-to-please grape, responding well to just about anything a winemaker...
