Broc Cellars "Vine Starr" Zinfandel - 2021

Item # 17780 750mL

Great Sonoma Zinfandel that is delicious with spiced spare ribs. Made by Chris Brockway with minimal intervention to achieve the best quality. Showing good balance, great natural acidity, and lively ripe tannins. Notes of black and red fruit, licorice, cardamom, and a floral bouquet come forth in this incredibly drinkable Zinfandel.

Staff Pick Notes

This wine was not what I was expecting—actually I'm not even sure what I would expect from a low-intervention and site-specific Zinfandel. Kinda like a Malbec or a really yummy Rhône wine—a Côtes du Rhône Village perhaps. It's not funky or weird, just a bright, clean California wine.
