Flavored spirits are not my cup of tea. I usually find that added flavors are often overcompensating for a subpar sip. Core Vodka is kind of the opposite methodology. It's made by extracting flavor and character from the inside out instead of the other way around. Hard cider made from local Hudson Valley apples is distilled three times with a singular filtration. No additives. The sole ingredient is apples. And don't let this make you think it's a flavored vodka, it is not at all. The taste is clean, fresh and dry, with just a hint of crisp Fuji apple to it. Versatile, well made, genuinely good. It's made me re-think Vodka.
