Staff Pick Notes

The vines that produce this great wine are situated at a height of around 600 meters, quite high for a vineyard! The wine is matured in stainless steel vats for twenty four months followed by four months in-bottle. It's a ruby red wine with ripe fruit flavors, a bright acidity, and firm tannin. It's a lively, medium-bodied red with some spice on the palate. Because of its acidity and tannins, this wine can still evolve in the bottle and become more complex with time. I think it's fresh and delicious!

He is straightforward about his approach, immune to the praise lavished upon him in the media, and not one to obsess about crafting a so-called “perfect”...
