This comes from Grüner Veltliner planted in the cooler, higher elevation sites of Birnhtal and Ackerweingärten. The fruit is harvested in the early autumn which allows for the wine to be complete and ready to drink in the early summer. This dry wine is light in body, has a modest alcohol level of 11.5%, and is refreshing and very drinkable. Pair with oysters any which way: fried, fresh or on the grill. Unoaked.
