This well-made red opens with aromas of fresh black plums. Approachable and soft, though rustic around the edges, this is a great selection for smoky potato dishes, flank steak, or slow-roasted pork. This Touriga was fermented in stainless steel to preserve its lively currant character, and matured in American and French oak.
