Did you ever get orange creamsicles from the ice cream truck ? Maybe a scoop of orange sherbet in the summer? The inspiration for this bitters was orange cream soda, but with one whiff you'll feel that nostalgic pull of childhood memories of when the school year was over. Bittermens felt there were enough orange bitters in the market, so they wanted to create something fresh and different when they put this out. Once you get past smelling it (over and over) you can use it as a dash of sweet in more savory cocktails or to play up the citrus. I'd love a splash in a whiskey sour.
