Half-Bottle of Laurent Cazottes Goutte de Reine

When Laurent Cazottes traveled to the US, our sales staff was lucky enough to meet him and personally receive a staff training on his products. To say that we were "bowled over" is to put it lightly. Yes ,we are wine and spirits lovers and like to geek out on people doing great things, but LC is truly on another level. I am amazed, one way or another, by all of his products, but since I can't staff pick them all, I have selected his Plum Eau de Vie as representative of the attention to detail, quality of fruit, and overall superiority of product. This entrancing spirit is made from Greengage plums, a hard-to-find, heirloom fruit. I know of no one else doing a product like this. It is wild, aromatic, and earthy. I can't say enough about it.
