There is a peculiar (in the best way). bready, rising dough aroma at first, along with Smucker's sweet jam. The liqueur coats the glass and the palate. Although ripe with abundant flavors of cherries, various berry fruits, and pomegranate molasses, there is no stickiness, the body is medium, and the mid-palate begins with a tart acidity that follows through the finish. One of the best liqueurs we've ever carried.
