Staff Pick Notes

Here's a Greek wine that is a little less assertive and brash than the more famous whites of the region and more understated yet still quite compelling. You'll find refined and delicate aromas and flavors of green apple, key lime, white flowers, white nectarine and raw almond. The wine has a notable embrace of the palate showing a lot of charm and yet it remains lifted and graceful along the way to a clean mineral finish. The acidity and low alcohol level leave you immediately ready for the next sip (or gulp). The flavors here play a supporting role to the more engaging textural and harmonious structural elements, most notably the low alcohol and high acidity. This results in a wine that's almost made for drinking on its own as there's essentially no palate fatigue. Still a natural pairing with sushi, a hummus plate or smoked fish.
