Tasting Notes

Made in Spain, the highest per capita consumers of gin in the world, with a Mediterranean inspired recipe of botanicals that include olives, thyme, rosemary, and basil, this is one of the most original and distinctive gins we have tasted all year. Herbal, spicy and floral the nose is clean and refreshing while the palate is delicate, invigorating, and perfect for mixing.

Staff Pick Notes

This gin was produced in a converted chapel in Costa Daurada, a coastline just southwest of Barcelona. The main components are sourced from four different Mediterranean countries and balanced out with some local Spanish botanicals. On the palate, you'll discover more savory dimensions like cardamom, black pepper and rosemary. There's also an interesting saline quality on the finish, almost reminiscent of olive tapenade. To pair, I'm thinking light dishes with an olive oil and lemon base, possibly some Branzino or Langoustines?
