Having long specialized in extra-aged rums, the team at one of the most important distilleries in Latin America decided to set down some special casks with the intention of slowly maturing them for a length of time preciously un-attempted. After more than two decades of patience, the 25 is the tremendous fruit of this extraordinary labor. Notes include wet marsh, coconut water, vanilla extract, bittersweet molasses, papaya, lily flowers, blade mace, marzipan, cocoa powder, and more. Very elegant and refined, the spirit is a contemplative slow burn and a great achievement.
