Planted in 1993, this vineyard sits at 475 feet, has soils of well draining silty clay and benefits from the rising heat off the valley floor. The juice was fermented in a combination of barrel and stainless steel after which the wine aged for eight months on its lees. Pear, white floral, apple and ginger aromas precede layered flavors of melon, stone fruit flavors and citrus that are nicely edged with minerality.
