We have been anticipating the release of this gin for quite some time and it is no doubt one of the best we've had in years. Everything that seems to come out of this distillery possesses exceptional quality as well as supreme accessibility, qualities made possible in part because of the special vintage Coffey still used here. This gin really highlights a first of its kind mélange of Japanese botanicals including three kinds of local citrus, Japanese apples and sansho pepper among others. The texture is silken and nearly seamless and the elevated abv gives this the lift to hold its own in myriad cocktail creations. A must have for gin drinkers.
